One: You Lock the Target / Two: You Bait the Line... - Kingdom Death Manhunter Expansion Review

The Manhunter is I believe Kingdom Death's smallest expansion (not counting ones without monsters). Appropriately, this will be one of my shortest reviews.

Never Gonna' Keep me Down - Malifaux Resurrectionists - Forgotten Marshal and BĂȘte Noire

I really don't like the standard Forgotten Marshal. Mostly the part where it makes no sense that he's missing a coffin. What, does he keep the zombie that falls out in his pocket? His Hat?

Time is Meaningless - Tara crew

So, I wasn't really happy with this crew, given that it was my favorite master but far from my favorite paint job. Having had it sit around for a while, I felt it was just a little plain, so it was time to start putting more paint down.

A New Frontier (For Some) - Wild West Exodus Rules & Miniatures Review

I always enjoy a little freehand, and again based the various face paint on traditional variations. The shaved heads are relatively simple but I think add a lot of flavor.
My first foray into Outlaw Miniatures' Wild West Exodus was full of good discoveries- it's got some cool minis and the rules cover a solid middle ground between small skirmishes and larger, squad-based system.

A Gat in the Hand Means the World by the Tail - Malifaux sculpting

A quick little project, Miss Demeanor (the LE Convict Gunslinger) was missing her arm, so got a new one. Replicating the old one would have worked but would also be a bit boring, so her new one is based off a noir/western "hip shooting" pose, and I added a little twist in her waist/extant arm to make the pose more unique.

Show Some Skin - Arena Rex Vargr

I'm really happy with how Vargr turned out- I think he's a really cool/dynamic model, and I got the skin looking probably the best I've ever gotten skin looking. I'm... not really sure what else to say. They were nice about sending a replacement when I complained of a miscast?

The sculpt held up to the standards of the rest of the Arena Rex line, as one of the great little boutique resin companies out there.

One More Time, with Feeling! - Tara Podcast and crew core (revised)

I swear, this is the last time I'm revising this set. Honest. I think. Until I get another idea maybe.

...Actually, I have more important news besides describing how I'm compulsive about modeling projects: I've now done my first podcast!

I'm on Schemes & Stones' sixth episode, which is now up though I haven't quite gotten the up courage to listen to my mistakes :P (Oh, crap, is it really an hour and a half?!)
