The defining narrative Megacon put out, of a game of the players' experience, falls short.
With their rhetoric and rules gaps, it certainly didn't feel like much of a story, and definitely not my story.

Hack & Slash - Myth Heroes
And with these guys, I'm finishing off my core Myth box.
For those of you who are interested, this set's up for grabs, since, while it was fun to paint, I didn't connect with the play style.

Range Finder - MYTH Archer and Yardu
I very often play a Ranger class in D&D and similar RPGs, so Myth's Archer was a natural first choice when picking a class, though it took me some time to get around to painting her.

Hunting Some Orcs - Myth Muckers & Grubbers
Another backlogged bit of work I got around to photographing. Been a grueling week, so clearing out some old entries rather than doing a ton of painting new work. For the orcs, I decided to add some variety in color and on their captains' gear.

It's a Rat(?)! - Myth Brigand
Just a short one today, finished the Myth Brigand some time back. I haven't played the Brigand yet, but had fun getting a mottled look on his fur. Pretty sure it's supposed to be a rat guy, but having just watched a bunch of nature documentaries, it doesn't particularly look like one. Working on it reminded me of painting my Mordheim Skaven ages ago... which also didn't look much like rats. Sensing a theme, here...

Tall guy, weird clothes. First you see him, then you don't. - Myth Apprentice
Just a quick one today- the Myth Heroes are pretty dynamic, and I feel like their plain bases don't really do them justice.
I decided to give the Apprentice some spinny swirly effect. I was considering also giving him the fire stuff from his illustration, but decided the contrast was a little obvious, and the fire effect would probably be too fragile. Other than that, I tried basically going for the illustrated colors.
