A quick one today, I was originally going to paint him with some more shadow, but thought the little on his base and very dark color scheme would be enough. That, and I think that the lighter skin as contrast worked better than one more effect would.

We are Building a Religion, We Are Making a Brand - Sedition Wars Firebrand
I decided to depart a bit more from the stock paint job here than the more obvious revolutionary drab brown coat.

More Man than Machine? Cthonian re-sculpt (also, Cthonian Assault Drone)
This has been a side project I've been working on ever since I finished my Grendlr conversion some time back. The Cthonian looks nice as a robot, but never really spoke to me as a giant evil pseudo-organic intelligence, which demanded a change.

I've Got a Class-II Rating. - More Sedition Wars Vanguard, and some re-done pieces
So, I've been doing a lot of Sedition Wars, which means, as usual, I wanted to paint some more from the line.

Quarantine Protocols - Sedition Wars alternative characters
It's been a while since I painted much from the Sedition Wars line, but I'm doing a lot of playing again, which inevitably means I'm painting, too.

Compare & Contrast - Sedition Wars, testing the first scenario under 1st and 2nd edition rules
As I posted yesterday, the PDFs for second edition Sedition Wars came out. There's been a lot of controversy, and I thought it would be good to try something out.
I decided try to repeat the same scenario under the same conditions, using the same strategy, using the same rolls, with both rules sets. I'm playing these simultaneously with two types of counters. Yes, it's confusing, but I'm curious to see how the same tactics work on both versions.

The Bionic Game: Sedition Wars rules update, a rundown of the changes
Studio McVey just put out their updated rules for Sedition Wars.
The Rules are here.
The cards are here.
With a few comments, the entirety of the changes in the update to Sedition Wars. Yellow highlights represent more notable changes, and red comments are ones I feel are more noteworthy.
Note, this is being noted in order. I'll try to change earlier statements if things are clarified later, but may have missed some...

Sedition Wars Cards (part 2)
After some serious distraction, I finally got back to these. I'll be doing the phase 2 when I get some more time (redoing the wound track takes a while). I prefer this design for keeping track of health, but for those of you who like cards, here they are!

Blow it out of the Air Lock - Sedition Wars door terrain features/game aids
My first request for tokens (that I've executed, still working on others), decided to make it a snappy one.

Knee-jerk: Sedition Wars and the Reflex Phase
Okay, so, after playing a few games of Sedition Wars, I've started to feel I have a grasp of strategy, at least, at a small scale (having only played small games, so far). Until I get more experience, I'll only be commenting on the models I have at least some experience with. I've also avoided a few models like Hurley because their rules aren't quite clear yet.
So, here goes some starting strategy. I'll be discussing ways of preparing for Reflexes, both your own and your opponent's.

Counter Strike - Sedition Wars Health Tokens
So, as Sedition Wars's rules have been getting more refined, through the FAQ/Errata, and I've been getting more used to the rules, I've been enjoying the game a ton, as you can probably tell from the amount of posts I've made recently on it.
However, one thing that I've continually had trouble with is tracking health. Now, I'm not the most organized gamer you've ever met, but, having that many cards around has been difficult to keep track of, and I haven't even moved in to a large game, yet.

Sedition Wars Game Aids (part 1)
So, I've been enjoying Sedition Wars a lot, but found that I really don't need twenty of the same stat card lying around, and instead would prefer to just keep track of health separately.
