Old Skool - Vladimir the Dark Prince of Umbrey & Iron Fangs

Vlad always had a cool, classic Dracula feel, to me. The dark red & gold's a nod to the blood knight sort of vibe and of course Khador's standard red.

So, I wasn't really expecting it when I started, because Burlamacco was more silly than creepy, and Collodi was never my favorite Wyrd sculpt, but I think he's turned out to be one of the most sinister minis I've painted.

Angry Ghosts All Around Us, Kirai Crew, part 2


Seems appropriate for my first post in the new  year by clearing out some ghosts and cobwebs. I painted the first bit of this crew some time ago, and then they sat around for a year or so before I finished them, but now here's the full crew.

Circle... of Jomon?

An odd and not all that clever title, but I guess it got your attention.


This army's been influenced heavily by my study of prehistoric Japanese ceramics. It's not that historically accurate (since there isn't all that much historical accuracy going around with werewolves and demigods), but I tied to keep it very aesthetically in tune with the Jomon and Yayoi sensibilities.
