I have a bad habit of deciding big models aren't big enough.
The Rail Golem was one of my first tests of using model railroad track, which I'd originally set aside for a terrain piece before deciding it was completely impractical.
Because of that, it felt only necessary to replace the I-beam with a pair of rails, which look better than the stubby I-beam, but the Golem's arms exploded while the glue was drying, so the nastier pose isn't happening any more (since I forget what it looked like).
I still find it a bit strange that the model is so muscled and has weird barrel feet, but I'm happy with how he came out, and he looks pretty seriously impressive on the field.
