Bearded Men for Change - Age of Sigmar Rules Review


So... I could have made this like the rest of my reviews, and show off my painted work and some stock images of the line, and whatnot, but, well, I don't really find myself wanting to promote the line. I'll try to express objectivity in the matter.

A bit about my gaming history
In short, I've over time learned to be okay with silly rules sets, and while sexism in games isn't something I've been very comfortable with, I like games and enjoy painting toys with some skin showing as much as other pieces.

You Can't Hit Whatcha' Can't See! - Nomad Spektr

This was a fun little experiment- not quite so convincing on the black, but I still thought it was a cool mix of one part sky/earth NMM (which I always thought was a bit much), one part weird washes, lots of Ghost in the Shell and similar cyberpunk aesthetic influence.

Showtime - Kickstarting a Circus-noir Graphic Novel, and a bit on miniature technique

Along with my work with miniatures, my main creative outlet is my graphic novel illustration, and, after the requisite blood, sweat, and tears, my graphic novel, Tightrope: The Illusion of Height, is live on kickstarter!

The worlds of illustration and miniatures aren't as far apart as you might think. I actually use a lot of the same techniques in painting as I do in illustration-- one of the most obvious bits is my Object Source Light work:
