BLEERGH! - Nurgle Bile Trolls

Nurgle is my favorite Chaos God, Forgeworld does great minis, therefore, Bile Trolls were a joy to paint.

These guys went very quickly, and I thought got a very strong decaying look. My favorite is definitely the left one, not because of the guy (zombie? plaguebearer? tumor?) on his back but because the head was great to work with.

It's rare that I start a post with the smallest model in a set, but π-well was my favorite from this set- I've always enjoyed Corvus Belli's little robots, and the orange and teal gave it a fun, playful look. I'm considering repeating this palate on some other lines to see how it comes out.

One of my favorite bits of Malifaux is the Weird West aspect, and I've recently been trying to refine painting towards it. Sue is probably my favorite out of the whole subgroup, what with the badassery, Johnny Cash reference, and creative character entry.

Yeah, I've used that title before, but I couldn't resist- Sonnia's mask really strongly evokes the Protomen for me. (BTW, they were easily one of the best shows I've ever seen in a dive bar.)

Warriors of Chaos Manticore

So, I tried to make this one have a more natural look, since it was based off a real critter. I think the gold matches the rider to the mount nicely.

I've... really got nothin' on manticores or lions, couldn't think of a reference for this one, since the Wizard of Oz is about as played out as Ghost Busters when it comes to pop culture references...
