Tall guy, weird clothes. First you see him, then you don't. - Myth Apprentice

Just a quick one today- the Myth Heroes are pretty dynamic, and I feel like their plain bases don't really do them justice.

I decided to give the Apprentice some spinny swirly effect. I was considering also giving him the fire stuff from his illustration, but decided the contrast was a little obvious, and the fire effect would probably be too fragile. Other than that, I tried basically going for the illustrated colors.

The Grand Trimodon - Chaos Heldrake

Sounds of Silence - Tara and Obliteration Tactics

Tara isn't a world killer and likely won't be getting the job done on her own, but is highly versatile and, most importantly (for me, at least), has a cool theme.

Hard to Trajectorize... - Warriors of Chaos Hellcannon

This is actually the first artillery scenes I've done- it was pretty different doing a mini-scene as a standard model rather than a display piece.

I decided to do a pretty dark and unrefined look, with a fully rusted and bloody frame. I added the black trim and gold surfaces to the skull, ornamented wheels, skull plate, and helmets, to link the cannon to the rest of the army.

Obtainers of Rare Antiquities - Assault: 19xx Card Game Review (update 9/15)

Assault: 19xx, including the 2nd volume extras

Assault: 19xx summarizes itself perfectly- a Dieselpunk adventure. It's a fun, casual game that's most suited to a party, and definitely not the sort where you agonize over strategy.
